How the Academy handles learning data

This page describes the data handling currently implemented in the Academy; additional legal and privacy details will be added as the service setup is formalised.

Operator and privacy contact

Healthcare AI Learning is an independent personal project created and operated by Jurrien Bruijns in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Jurrien Bruijns is the controller for the processing described on this page. Privacy questions can be sent to jurb@live.co.uk.

Stored in this browser

Notes, reflections, capstone drafts and vendor Blueprint text stay in this browser by default. Local course progress and assessment results also stay here unless you choose to sign in. Export creates a file in your browser; import reads that file as data. SeeData & progress for controls and full details.

First-party usage measurement

Unless you switch measurement off, the Academy sends allow-listed events such as page views, modules started or completed, assessment scores, tools or cases opened, and search result counts. Events use random browser and session identifiers and can include device category, referral domain, campaign tags, landing path, browser locale and timezone.

The event schema has no field for your name, email, account identifier, IP address, notes, reflections, capstone or Blueprint text, typed answers or search terms. It records whether a session is signed in, not which account it belongs to. The application is configured with a twelve-month raw-event deletion target; a complete legal retention policy has not yet been supplied.

The code reviewed for this notice does not establish what network or hosting logs may be processed outside this application-level event stream. No broader claim is made here.

Optional account sign-in

Signing in adds an account and email address for authentication. It synchronises structured course progress, completed steps, exercise answers and best graded assessment results between devices. Reflections, notes, capstone drafts and Blueprint text are not uploaded by the progress-sync feature. The account page lets you remove the synced copy.
